Reality to realistic ?

 

Actual portraits and realistic and hyper-realistic results need more hardware. Camera for instance.

I have understood the anatomy of a typical face. I am confident of tonal control too.

But I think I must take up hands and feet of Giovanni Civardi and Andrew Loomis.  As I do not plan to get myself a camera.

What happens when an image is edited and tones changed? My answer is then the Areas where tones are changed no longer exhibit the property of light but exhibits the property of water.

Do you think my intuitive view is correct?

"Beta, you and my son are colleagues in the same office. My son feels India was not able to make progress in science, technology, anthropological and social progress. That is still acceptable he says. But when war is going on in some parts of the world why are Indians not in war mood, he asks. Because of this he has got into depression. Five tones?

First things first. Here's what I do with monochrome pencils. An arbitrary man.

But I plan to take up colored portraits.  Currently I have four tones. They are

1. Poster colors developed tones.

2. Mont Marte darker than poster colors developed tones.

3. Mont Marte lighter than poster colors developed tones.

4. Black tones.

I need to introduce white tones too with Gelly Roll white gel pens. 

Will it be good?

Shiv Kumar Sharma

 

Shiv Kumar Sharma passed away yesterday. 

He was Shiv of Shiv-Hari music directors. 

He was in the troupe of R D Burman too. He was just too good in playing between Mukda and Antara interludes. He was mesmerizing in giving direction to Antara of R D Burman songs.
